It&#39;s the concept of a blog which is new to me. I am OK writing for an unknown audience, or to friends and family, but the mixture of the two plus recording suitable material for the planned volunteer scheme presents a challenge; to be avoided I am sure are both trying details of time and place and trying too overtly to capture the feel of time and place.
