I am finding the process of writing for a blog difficult, and it's not just the fact that internet comes and goes and the university library shuts at 5.45. It's the concept of a blog which is new to me. I am OK writing for an unknown audience, or to friends and family, but the mixture of the two plus recording suitable material for the planned volunteer scheme presents a challenge; to be avoided I am sure are both trying details of time and place and trying too overtly to capture the feel of time and place. I don't want huge gaps in the blog just because I haven't found the best words to describe a wet pavement.
